THANATEROS To Release New Album In April

December 25, 2008

German "celtic goth metal" band THANATEROS will release its fourth album, "Liber Lux", on April 3, 2009 via New Crusade Records. The CD was recorded at RedHouse Studio and was mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios in Helsinki, Finland. A record-release party will take place on April 3 at K17 in Berlin, Germany.

THANATEROS was recently joined by drummer Simon Rippin (ex-FIELDS OF THE NEPHILIM, NFD) and bassist Daniel Lechner (ex-LACRIMAS PROFUNDERE).

THANATEROS' name comes from the chaos-magic order Illuminates Of Thanateros (IOT) and combines the ancient gods Thanatos (death) and Eros (love).
